SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the technology of silicates, and particularly to fritted glaze compounds, used in making face tiles. The glaze consists of the following components with the given percentage mass ratios: SiO2 59.0-65.0; Al2O3 3.0-5.0; CaO 10.0-12.0; Na2O 2.0-3.0; K2O 2.0-3.0; Co2O3 0.5-2.0; B2O3 10.0-12.0; ZnO 4.0-5.0; PbO 1.0-1.5.
EFFECT: increased frost resistance of the glaze.
