FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method is related to preparation of kretek. It is prepared by extracting cinnamon with liquid carbon dioxide and separation of miscella. Cut tobacco is mixed together with cloves and plasticizer. Prepared mixture is soaked with miscella with simultaneous increase of pressure. Pressure is reduced down to atmospheric with the rate that provides freezing of carbon dioxide absorbed in composition of miscella. Then heating is done with the rate that provides sublimation of carbon dioxide to obtain swollen blend and formation of smoking substance from it.

EFFECT: preparation of scented kretek with reduced content of tar and nicotine.
