FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: it can be used for fabrication of rotors, shafts and other components of steam turbines of high and medium pressure. High chromium steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, vanadium, niobium, nitrogen, calcium, sulphur, and phosphorus at a following ratio of elements, mas.%: carbon 0.10-0.18; silicon 0.05-0.10; manganese 0.1-0.7; chromium 9.5-11.0; nickel 0 -0,7; molybdenum 1.0-2.0; vanadium 0.15-0.30; niobium 0.02-0.08; nitrogen 0.01-0.05; calcium 0.001-0.05; sulphur 0.002-0.012; phosphorus 0.002-0.012, iron - the rest, at that summary contains of sulphur and phosphorus does not exceed 0.020%.
EFFECT: upgraded quality and processibility of steel.
