FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground simulation of a space flight and can be used to train space ship crews for prolonged flights to other planets. The proposed complex incorporates independent tight compartments modules, i.e. medicotechnical, utility and take-off/take-on modules. The above modules are connected by tight adapter modules with crew compartment. An unpressurised Mars surface module-simulator is also provided for. Actuating systems, including a life-support system, include ventilation, air-conditioning, gas analysis, air purification, oxygen supply, pressure maintenance, water supply, sewage, electric power supply, lighting, video observation and fire extinguishing systems. The above systems are arranged outside the aforesaid modules to control the conditions inside the modules. To imitate descent onto the Mars surface, a take-off/take-on module is provided for incorporating an adapter lock communicating with the Mars surface module-simulator. All modules are functionally independent. The crew compartment is furnished with clocks graduated in Martian time.

EFFECT: longer experiment, wider variety of research programs.
