SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to the technology of silicates and relates to fritted glaze compositions, used in making face tiles. The glaze consists of the following components in the given percentage mass ratios: SiO2 52.0-57.0; Al2O3 1.0-2.0; B2O3 22.0-25.0; Na2O 1.0-2.0; PbO 8.0-10.0; Sb2O3 0.5-1.0; MnO2 1.0-2.0; ZnO 5.0-10.0.
EFFECT: increased frost resistance of the glaze.
