FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of the equipment intended for automatic bearing washing and drying and is intended for industrial and repair enterprises of whatever national economy branch. The unit incorporates an inclined conveyor accommodating bearings, washing and drying chambers, a pump and a pipeline to feed washing fluid into washing zone and that to feed warmed up compressed air in drying zone, an automatic control system, washing heads and drying heads with built-in swirlers arranged on the LH and RH sides of the bearings. The swirlers feature, on the washing fluid flow and warmed-up compressed air inlet, radius sections, while, on the washing fluid flow and warmed-up compressed air outlets, the swirler end faces are flat with sharp edges and have holes arranged radially relative to two washing fluid and warmed-up compressed air flows. The washing and drying heads are shifted relative to the bearing axis.
EFFECT: automated washing and drying; higher quality of the said operations, ruling out expensive explosive and toxic washing fluids.
