FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: multi-row radial-piston hydraulic motor is designed to be used in various branches that require a high-torque low-rpm first-motion hydraulic rotary drive. The hydraulic motor incorporates motionless housing (1) with a profiled guide made as closed groove (6) and two row of cylinder blocks (3) arranged outside the housing and aligned to rotate in opposite directions relative to the housing. The rod of every piston (7) represents cross bar (9) with its end accommodating a roll interacting with groove (6). Cylinders (3) head ends are furnished with openings (8) to discharge liquid while the cylinder rod end communicates, via the liquid feed valves, with the pressure line. The interlinked cylinder blocks interact with the output shaft by means of a gear mechanism. The rod end of every cylinder incorporates an explosion vent. Every cylinder is furnished with curvilinear branch pipe (19) to direct discharge liquid opposite to this cylinder direction of rotation. Pistons (7), forced by the liquid pressure, move from the centre of rotation and pull cross bars (9) to act, via rolls (11), on the walls of groove (6) to make the cylinder block rotate. Liquid is subjected to centrifugal force enhancing the pressure on the pistons.
