FIELD: optical instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: lens includes two components arranged in symmetry relative to aperture diaphragm of the component. Every component incorporates two positive lenses, one of them being a flat-convex, its flat surface facing the aperture diaphragm, the other one being a biconvex lens, and a negative meniscus, its concave surface facing the diaphragm. Negative lenses are arranged between the object surface and flat-convex lens of the first component and between the flat-convex lens the second component image plane. The biconvex lens in every component is arranged between the meniscus and diaphragm, while flat-convex lens and meniscus are separated by an air gap corresponding to (0.5÷2)f", where f" is the lens focal length. The negative and bi-convex lenses can be made from an optical material with the diffraction factor of ν ≥ 75 and refractive index of n ≤ 1.5.
EFFECT: image higher quality and enlarged field of vision.
