FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: directed flows membrane apparatus incorporates a casing with the starting liquid inlet, purified liquid outlet branch pipes and that carrying the liquid with sediments. The apparatus consists of a cylindrical shell with an elliptical top and a bottom, a filter holder accommodating filter elements and a distributing perforated device, a clamping plate and foot-like supports. The distributing device is arranged at the filter holder centre. Profile elements are mounted along the shell periphery so that to form a narrowing gap relative to the filter element, the said gap containing a discharge channel.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, longer life and expanded application range.
