FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: method includes planting plants into trays, lighting plants with artificial light, supplying plants with cultural solution during relocation of the runs and harvesting. Plants are pulse lighted by optical diodes moving along conveyor tiers, with duration of dark period exceeding that of the light impulse. Spectral distribution contains mainly blue and red emission bands. Periodicity of light impulse and duration of dark periods are changed depending on plant species. Plants are supplied with cultural solution and plant hormones depending on plants development stage and position of trays on the conveyor. The water for solutions is preliminary treated with electro-magnetic irradiators. Movement speed of the light source is changed according to species of plants, movement of the conveyor being changed according to growth index.

EFFECT: increased plants productivity and ripening, higher efficiency of light source usage and reduced energy consumption.
