FIELD: pipeline transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pipeline transportation and can be used in repair. Collapsible casing (1) to be fastened on tubular part (50) comprises first part (2) to be placed on the tubular part, and the second and thirds parts (4, 6), respectively, pivoted, at points (8) and (10) to the first part opposite sides. Parts (4) and (6) are furnished with fasteners (40) or (42) interacting with the other part fasteners. Remote control appliances (20) are used to move parts (4) and (6) and to run about joints (8) and (10) into appropriate positions. Fasteners (40) and (42) get engaged so that parts (4) and (6) are jointed together. The said collapsible casing can be used in underwater repair jobs on damaged pipeline or in mounting branches or T-branch pipes.
