FIELD: pipeline transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to high-viscosity fluid transportation in pipelines. The device decreasing hydraulic resistance in a pipeline comprises an appliance to create a wall low-viscosity magnetic fluid. The said appliance represents permanent magnets made up of separate magnetic bands arranged on the pipeline surface along its generating line and featuring a magnetisation vector directed along the pipeline radius, while the adjacent magnetic bands have their magnetisation vector directed in an opposite direction, the aforesaid magnets being arranged on the pipeline inner surface.
EFFECT: application in various industrial branches for transporting fluids to the consumers.
