METHOD OF PROTECTION AGAINST FAKES AND CONTROL OF VALUABLE PRODUCTS AUTHENTICITY Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC G07D7/00 

FIELD: protection of products.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to methods of valuable products protection from a fake. The method proposed consists in that a passive protective unit of predetermined structure is formed on a valuable product using nano-size planar structures metal-oxide semiconductor (MOS), e.g. Cr-SiO₂-Si, and reflected second harmonic generation electroinduced by an electrostatic field, as a detective informative sign. The control of presence and authenticity of protective unit is provided by method of optical effects analysis in the course of external influence on it of probing electromagnetic radiation of a visible optical range and detecting informative signs in the optical response of protective unit to the said external influence with the subsequent visual and automatic comparison of the parameters registered of informative signs to the informative signs containing in a database of detection units.

EFFECT: increased reliability level of protection against fakes of valuable products.
