FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, particularly hematology, cardiology and endocrinology and deals with nitrogen oxide level correction in blood of patients with metabolic syndrome (MS). The method involves four month therapy consisting of individual hypocaloric diet, sensibly graded static and dynamic physical exercise, and administration of 500 mg of metformin twice a day, 60 mg of eprosartan once in the morning and 20 mg of rosuvastatin in the evening. Such combination of non-drug therapy and definite medications from selected pharmaceutical groups, as well as empirically defined treatment duration reduce the risk of thrombosis complications for patients with MS due to normalisation of nitrogen oxide production in the blood of patients with MS.
EFFECT: reduced risk of thrombosis complications for patients with metabolic syndrome.
