FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: for the first version missile warhead blasting time delay is selected in relation to the moment of reception of signal from target, for these conditions of missile hitting the target. Probability of target vulnerable sections covering with the field of damage agents is calculated with zero time delay of missile warhead blasting, time delay is successively increased, the probability of target covering with field of damage agents is determined at its every value. At that increase of time delay is carried out until the probability value is increasing, after that increase of time delay is stopped and statistically optimal time delay of missile warhead blasting is determined by maximum of calculated probability. According to the second version missile warhead blasting time delay is selected in relation to the moment of reception of signal from target. For these conditions of missile hitting the target dependence of probability of target vulnerable sections covering with the field of damage agents on value of time delay of missile warhead blasting is calculated. After that threshold probability level is selected that lies within the limits of 0.2-0.3. At this level of probability two extreme values of time delay are determined, the average of these values is calculated that corresponds to statistically optimal time delay of missile warhead blasting.
EFFECT: increase of probability of target vulnerable sections covering with field of damage agents.
