FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: combined jet engine represents a single-stage propeller fan arranged in an annular cone, or, in compliance with the other version, a two-stage twin-rotor propeller fan. The said fan blade ends accommodates jet engines arranged so that the axis of their nozzle exhaust flow is located at an angle to the fan blade cone screen. In compliance with the other version, the aforesaid jet engines are arranged on the blade ends so that the axis of their nozzle exhaust flow is located at an angle to the fan first impeller cone screen front, while the fan second impeller blade ends accommodate the turbine blades so that to allow high-efficiency conversion of the power of the flow in coming from the nozzles of the first impeller jet engine nozzles into the energy of rotation of the fan second impeller. In compliance with the first version, directing vanes are arranged behind the impeller on the annular cone inner surface. In compliance with the second version, the said directing vanes are arranged behind the second impeller. The directing vanes are designed to change the direction of the flow from the blades to approximate it to an axial one.
EFFECT: combined jet engine higher efficiency in atmosphere containing no free oxidiser.
