DEVICE FOR TREATMENT OF NEAR-TREE-TRUNK ZONE IN ROWS OF PERENNIAL PLANTINGS Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A01B35/16 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: device comprises milling drum mounted in a casing on a frame which is set on a tractor hitch through a parallelogram mechanism and a drive. Parallelogram mechanism is fitted with hydraulic cylinder and servocompensator. Servocompensator is equipped with double-arm lever and a spring. The lever is set on the axis between stoppers on the longitudinal link of the parallelogram mechanism. One end of the spring is fixed with the double-arm lever, the other one - with the second longitudinal link of the parallelogram mechanism. Hydraulic cylinder is set between the hitch and double-arm lever on the spring side. Milling drum casing is equipped with impingement plate. Stoppers on the longitudinal link are adjustable. Servocompensator spring is fixed by a connecting rod with adjustable length. Impingement plate of the milling drum casing is designed as inclined wedge fitted with branch lifting device.

EFFECT: decreased area of untreated near-tree-trunk zone and increased reliability of processing procedures when treating near-tree-trunk zone in rows of perennial plantings.
