FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for fluid and gas treatment in chemical, oil-processing and other industries. Filter includes cylindrical case with treated medium inlet jet and mechanical admixture outlet jet, removable coaxial filtering cartridge, inlet nozzle for tangential injection of treated medium. A centrator is attached to end of tubular filtering element with external filtering surface. The other end of filtering element is fixed in end body tube. The filtering element is comprised by slotted grids in the form of cylindrical spiral made of precise V-shaped profile and welded to support elements at each crossing point. V-shaped profile forms a hard screen with lengthwise slots of strictly defined size. Mechanical admixture outlet jet is connected to a mud box with drain jet, and a baffling mesh is installed between the mechanical admixture outlet jet and mud box to prevent washing mechanical admixtures out of the mud box to the outlet jet.

EFFECT: simplified construction and increased filter capacity and life time.
