FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: gasoline additive includes, wt %: co-solvent 1-20, antioxidant 0.01-1.0, furfuryl alcohol 1-5, ethyl alcohol up to 100. The co-solvent is preferably selected out of group including: methylacetate, ethylacetate, ether aldehyde fraction, fusel oil, or their mix. The additive can include ether aldehyde fraction steamed away within 74-124°C range. The additive contains hindered phenols or bis-phenols as antioxidant.
EFFECT: increased detonation-proof properties of gasolines; high phase stability and improved environmental properties due to reduced emission accompanying exhaust gas.
