FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of pressed yeast production includes dilution of molasses with water, clarification of obtained solution, addition of chlorine extract calculation 0.9 kg of active chlorine per 1 ton of molasses, mixing and exposing mixture, addition of sulfuric acid to pH 4.5-5.5. Prepared molasses solution is supplied to yeast-growing apparatus. Separately solutions of ammonium sulfate, diammonium phosphate and potassium chloride are preapared and supplied to yeast-growing apparatus. Pure mother culture of yeasts is prepared by plating test-tube culture on wort-agar. Growing of yeasts and further re-plating of pure culture on nutritional medium, which includes molasses, diammonium phosphate, potassium chlorine and foam suppressor, are performed. Mother culture yeasts are grown in two successive inoculators - generative vats A and B. Separation of yeasts, their processing with sulfuric acid with their further use for plating commodity yeasts, growing commodity yeasts are carried out. Method allows to obtain 9300 kg of yeasts a day.
EFFECT: creation of efficient method of pressed yeasts production.
