FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to device for extraction of gallium form solutions by means of electrochemical reduction of liquid gallium or alloy. An elastic membrane is installed in a cylinder case of the device with a horizontal flat bottom with side valve for pouring out a solution and a bottom valve for pouring out liquid metal or alloy. The membrane is made in form of a ring and is located below the side valve. The membrane is pressure tight connected on its outer circuit with a wall of the case at a height of 10-100 mm from the bottom, while on its interior circuit it is connected with the bottom along the edge of the aperture of the bottom valve. At that one or several apertures with diameter of 3-10 mm are made in the case; the said apertures connect the cavity between the membrane and the case of the device with air. The apertures are arranged either along the periphery of the bottom, or in a wall near the bottom or directly on the joint line of the wall and bottom.

EFFECT: facilitating quick and complete discharge of extracted metal at unloading the device.
