SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains elements at a following ratio, wt %: carbon 2.8-3.2, silicon 1.0-1.4, manganese 0.12-0.18, aluminium 0.22-0.28, nitrogen 0.1-0.2, copper 1.2-1.4, chromium 0.8-1.0, niobium 0.8-1.0, iron - the rest.
EFFECT: upgraded hardness of iron.
