SUBSTANCE: automatic gripper incorporates a bail to suspend the gripper on the load lifting device, upper con-rods hinged to the bail, a cross member, twisted gripping levers pivoted to the upper con-rod lower ends and the cross member, gripping tools with their upper ends pivoted to the cross member, gripping tool retaining mechanism, a stop rigidly attached to the lower part of the aforesaid gripping tool retaining mechanism. The lower con-rod upper ends are hinged to the cross member, their lower ends being hinged to the gripping tools at the points between the gripping tool upper and lower ends. It also comprises a soft clamps rigidly attached to the gripping tool lower ends.

EFFECT: compact load-lifting device, no damage to objects to be transferred.
