FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: platform-free inertial system includes navigation parametre unit, central gauge with three accelerometres and three absolute angular velocity sensors, error calculation unit and six subtraction devices connected to the other units in a relevant pattern. Increased accuravy of platform-free inertial system is achieved by reduction of platform-free inertial system errors caused by reaction of each absolute angular velocity sensor to angular velocities along crosswise axes (perpendicular to measurement axis); caused by reaction of each absolute angular velocity sensor to linear acceleration along both measurement and crosswise axes; caused by reaction of each accelerometre to angular velocities along both measurement and crosswise axes.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of platform-free inertial system.
