FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering, to electric high-frequency transformers for devices of power transmission. Electric high-frequency transformer contains low-voltage and high-voltage winding arranged in the form of spiral coil with length of high-voltage winding equal to one fourth of current and voltage wave length. Spiral winding consists of several serially connected sections of insulated conductor, section area of which is different for every section and is reduced as section is distanced from the beginning of spiral winding according to equation: where cosϕi - normed value of current in i-section is equal to Ii/I0, where Ii - current in i-section, I0 - current in the beginning of the first section; Si - section of conductor in i-section, 0≤ϕi≤π/2. Beginning of spiral winding is connected to the end of low voltage winding and via capacitor - with one of high-frequency generator leads.
EFFECT: reduction of losses at resistance of transformer windings during operation at higher frequency and increase of high-voltage winding quality.
