SUBSTANCE: invention concerns powder metallurgy. Particularly it concerns sintered materials based on iron. Can be used for manufacturing rollers of rotary compressors for domestic air-conditioners. Material contains, wt %: carbon 0.8-1.6; molybdenum 1.5-2.0; titanium 1.5-2.0; boron 1.5-2.0; nickel 1.5-2.0; chrome 1.8-2.2; copper 0.3-0.5; manganese 4.0-5.0; talc 0.5-1.0; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: material hardening.
