FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns methods of methane displacement from prepared coal beds and can be used in struggle against hotbed gases and for avoidance of shaft methane explosion. According to the first version carbon dioxide is injected into coal bed through feeding wells, and methan from coal bed is removed in mixture with carbon dioxide through selecting well till methane impoverishment till safety level - one percent. After it selecting well is closed and through feeding wells again under pressure it is injected carbon dioxide and coal bed is hold till methan substitution by carbon dioxide. Methane displacement is implemented by periodically couple of wells, containing of each feeding and selecting well. According to the second version carbon dioxide is injected into coal bed through feeding well and methane from coal bed is removed in mixture with carbon dioxide through selecting wells. At that methane displacement is implemented by periodically couple of wells, containing of each feeding and selecting well.

EFFECT: accumulation and storage of carbon dioxide, as hotbed gas, in coal beds, and also providing of coal production explosion safety at shaft method.
