FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: sample to be analysed is passed through a column, filled with sorbent-polyurathane foam, saturated with a mixture of solvents, containing 70-75 wt % hexanol and 25-30 wt % tridecane, with subsequent desorption of 2-naphthol and its determination in the strippant using a photometric method.
EFFECT: increased selectivity and faster analysis.
