FIELD: physics; transportation.

SUBSTANCE: method of motor petrol detonation evaluation with octane value more than 100 units, expressed by octane value, includes comparison of detonation of tested petrol with octane value expressed detonation of standard fuels using one-cylinder installation testing with variable compression degree in tested operation. Octane value of tested petrol is evaluated by master blend scale with isooctane of high-octane aromatic connections with octane value more than 110 units, produced by monotonous transition from isooctane blend scale with normal heptanes used to evaluate octane value of high-octane organic compound blending from its concentration in mixture according to test results of not less than 4 mixes with isooctane and normal heptanes with uniformly distributed within range 85-99 units of octane value. And the specified dependence is linear, and test results of specified blends are average octane values by research method and octane values of mixed aromatic compound for each blend.

EFFECT: reliability and increase of evaluation safety.
