METHOD FOR OBTAINING POLYURETHANE Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC C08G18/18 C08G18/40 C08G101/00 C08J9/08

Abstract RU 2339653 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention concerns method for obtaining foamed polyurethane, involving reaction of polyisocyanate and component containing active hydrogen, including water and organic polyol, in the presence of amine catalytic system of delayed effect, containing reaction product of (a) one or more carboxylic acids with hydroxyl- and/or halogen functionality, and (b) one or more tert-amine urea obtained by reaction of urea and tertiary alkylamine, interaction stage additionally including tin organic compound selected out of given compound group. Invention also concerns methods of obtaining foamed polyurethane, involving stage of polyisocyanate an active hydrogen containing compound reaction including water and organic polyol, in the presence of amine catalytic system of delayed effect, containing reaction product of compounds (a) and (b), interaction stage additionally including reaction of tin organic compound selected out of given compound group; and foamed polyurethanes obtained by the claimed methods. Due to the use of amine catalytic system of delayed effect improved fluidity of reaction mix and higher openness degree of foams, resulting in reduced foam shrinkage. Main application field of foamed polyurethanes claimed by the invention is car seats, car head rests and furniture armrests and cushions, car instrument panels etc.

EFFECT: obtaining elastic foamed polyurethanes with high resilience and improved durability properties, such as compression shrinkage in damp aging, due to use of catalytic system in single-stage foaming technology.
