FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to steel structures manufacturing, and namely to steel structure made from rolled steel, metalware, wood and glass, and meant for erecting metal watch tower of framed construction and tower-shaped. Watch tower consists of box, intermediate modules and lower shelter. Windows made from tinted glass which is opaque from outside as well as loopholes are provided in box walls. There is a door from box to balcony. Metal stairs are installed inside watch tower. Intermediate modules are covered with sheet steel from outside like jalousie. Base module from floor to 2m level is covered with sheet steel on external and internal sides, thus forming lower shelters. Space between sheets is filled with concrete. Observation windows made from tinted glass which is opaque from outside, and loopholes which are closed with armour blinds from outside are provided in lower shelter walls. There is an armoured door to shelter.
EFFECT: improving protective properties of lower shelter, intermediate tiers and box, which prevent physical effect on the guard when he goes upstairs to box and downstairs to lower shelter, as well as when he is on duty in the box and lower shelter Invention also provides construction simplification and watch tower cost reduction, and availability of communication and surveillance devices.
