FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: coulter contains a duckfoot shovel fixed on the frame of the seed planter with the help of spring - tine, capped seed drill tube and deflector-distributor of seeds. Two plates of ware-resistant steel are rigidly fixed on the lower part of the duckfoot shovel. Plates are spaced parallel to the blades of the wings of the duckfoot shovel; distance between the blades and the plates equals h=8...10 mm. Lower planes of the plates go down outside the lower horizontal plane of duckfoot shovel and are bent towards it at an α≤ϕ angle, where ϕ is a friction angle of the steel of the plate against the ground. Lower planes of the plates are connected in their front part forming a wedge at an angle 2γ₁ determined from the equality 2γ₁=2γ, where 2γ stands for the vertex angle of the shovel, smoothly transforming into the nose part of the shovel.

EFFECT: provides even distribution of seeds in depth putting them into the pressed bed, ensuring even sprouts and creation of favorable conditions for sprouting and further herbs growth and consequently increasing productivity.
