FIELD: textile.

SUBSTANCE: diaphragm is made by plain weaving of the main and filling threads from twisted polyvinyl alcohol yarn with density from 55×4 tex to 200×4 tex with twisting rate from 100 to 130 twist/meter at thread density in cloth for 10 cm section being from 110 to 135 in base and from 95 to 110 in weft. Breaking force of cloth is 368-375 kgf for base and 474-483 kgf for weft. Elongation at rupture is 40.6% for base and 13.1% for weft. Surface density is 600-650 g/m².

EFFECT: general stability while operating in corrosive medium, small values of electric resistance and water permeability, increase life time and nickel plating rates.
