FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to space engineering, particularly, to designing and operation of jet engines of space vehicles. The fuel tank supercharging system comprising high-pressure cylinders communicating, via pneumatic lines, with gas chambers of appropriate tanks containing fuel and oxidiser and start-and-shut-off valves consecutively fitted on the said pneumatic lines and gas pressure control valve differs from the known device, in compliance with the first version, in that it incorporates a heater representing a multi-channel tubular-casing heat exchanger connected to the thermal control system. Note that every pipe of the said heat exchanger houses a displacer arranged over the entire pipe length to form a uniform circular gap in the annular channel between the pipe wall and displacer. Note here that the pipes represent coils and heat exchanger channels are connected into appropriate circuits of pneumatic lines behind the gas pressure control valves and throttling devices arranged therebefore. Note also that the heat exchanger tubular annulus is connected to onboard thermal control system. In compliance with the second version, the fuel tank supercharging system incorporates a heater representing the said multi-channel tubular-casing heat exchanger connected to the thermal control system with every pipe accommodating a displacer arranged along the pipe entire length.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability provided for by ruling out creation of cold gas flows into fuel-and-oxidiser tanks.
