FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to organometallic synthesis, specifically to production method of new 1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11,12,13-dodecahydrodicycloocta[b, d]magnesacyclopentadiene. Substance of method consists in reaction of cyclooctine with n-BuMgCl with added zirconacen dichloride catalyst in argon atmosphere in diethyl ether at room temperature within 4-6 hours.
EFFECT: production of compounds which can be applied as catalyst system component in oligomerisation and polymerisation of olefin and diene hydrocarbons in fine, industrial organic and organometallic synthesis, as well as in synthesis of biologically active preparations.
