FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions pertains to method and facility for withdrawal of radon out of railway tunnel. According to the method a stream of air generated by train motion is directed into operating ventilation system. By means of cutting-off doors part of air flow is directed to a joining connected with a prospecting transport-draining gallery wherefrom the air flow is coming back into the tunnel via another joining owing to sucking "piston effect" created after train passing. The facility consists of heat-ventilation system including joining with the tunnel. The facility also is equipped with the cutting-off door into the joining; the said door is made in its lower part of two similar halves in the middle connected with a pivot designed to turn at angle of 110-130° at train passing and designed to pressure-tight close after train passing.
EFFECT: facilitates turbulisation of lower layers of air in tunnel to catch radon and to withdraw it into operating ventilation system.
