FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: method involves lengthwise section of 17-22 cm, which is made from the level of upper frontal pelvic spine. The section is preformed in a distal direction in front from greater trochanter by the shortest way, which connects spiral line with internal epicondyle of femur. The transverse section is made from the lengthwise section and perpendicularly to it on the level of the base of greater trochanter and continued inward till the projection of joint space. Two square fasciocutaneous flaps are drawn asunder. Thereafter, step-like dissections of tailor's muscle from upper frontal spine, rectus femoris from lower frontal spine, and lumboiliac muscle from lesser trochanter are performed. The treated osteomyelytic sinuses are filled with tailor's muscle and rectus femoris dissected before from insertions by proximal parts. Continuity of tendo of lumboiliac muscle is restored by its sewing.
EFFECT: enlargement of surgical area, high probability for recovery owing to myoplasty of bone cavities remaining after sanitation of osteomyelytic neck focus, femur neck and frontal cotyloid cavity.
