FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to the field of transformer engineering and can be used in industrial engineering facilities where transformers are required to solve electric power supply tasks. Controlled transformer is made on the basis of conventional transformer with two secondary windings - operating winding containing in its circuit directly connected active load and control winding. Control winding circuit includes two diode branches each one of which is formed by two connected in series (consistently) diodes, two condensers, ballast resistance and loading resistor. In this circuit common point of back-to-back diode branches is connected to one of transformer control winding terminals, opposite terminals of diode branches are interconnected via ballast resistance. Blank terminals of condensers are connected with midpoints of diode branches and their connection common point is connected to one of loading resistor terminals the second terminal of which is connected with the other terminal of transformer control winding.
EFFECT: obtaining minimal electric energy losses in transformer and providing constant transformer ratio in the range of active load value change within ±50%.
