FIELD: agricultural industry.
SUBSTANCE: method includes formation of a combined two-tier vine bush on a vertical single-plane trellis. The latter has an upper tier which is not covered for the winter period and is made in the form of a high tree-shaped horizontal cordon with fruit links according to Cazenava training. Lower tier covered for the winter period is shaped in the form of a single-arm fruit link with an inclined trunk according to Guyot Kippen training. One-year growth is directed vertically on the trellis by means of arranging several wire tiers. According to the bush arranging scheme of 3.0×3.0 m, the upper tier of the bush is shaped in the form of a horizontal double-sided cordon. Length of each arm is 100-120 cm with fruit links on a trunk made of two sprouts 100-120 cm high. Lower tier of the bush top, which is covered for the winter period, is shaped in the form of a horizontal single-arm twined cordon 100-110 cm long, and 1-2 buds of one-year growth of sprouts are pruned. Two inclined trunks are constantly located on a rod made of a trellis galvanised wire. The rod is attached with its lower end to the bottom of a near-trunk pole. The tier being covered together with the rod is hung on the hooks of lower tier of the trellis wire at the height of up to 60 cm above the soil surface so that the trunks can be bent at an angle of not less than 45°. Twined cordon is located horizontally along the wire of the trellis lower tier. After the lower tier of the bush has been pruned, the packing is performed together with a rod to the soil surface in the row section, to be covered in a mechanical way with soil for the winter period. In spring after the bush is opened there performed is hanging on the hooks of lower tier of the trellis wire.
EFFECT: increase in productivity of vine plantations, providing the protection of vine bushes during winter period from low sub-zero temperature damages.
