SUBSTANCE: device for playing billiards comprises billiards table limited with sides, where balls are located, one of which is used as rock ball, device for rock ball hitting by interaction of its surface part and hitting part of hit making facility surface, and television camera that is connected to unit for detection of ball location on billiards table connected to computer system. Device comprises mechanism for displacement of facility for rock ball hitting, which is arranged in the form of movable head, which is connected to two-coordinate drive that provides for its plane-parallel displacement relative to the whole surface of billiards table. Movable head has drive that turns facility for rock ball hitting relative to vertical axis that passes through it, and mechanism for displacement of hitting part of surface of facility for rock ball hitting. Drives and mechanisms are connected to computer system.

EFFECT: automatic control of facility for rock ball hitting.
