SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering. Method of boiling bed flow characteristics measuring in boiler fire chamber with circulating boiling bed consists in the supply of exhaust gases to boiling bed separator. The separated material is supplied to the external recirculation unit through circulation pipe and returned to the boiler. Besides the material is subject to fluidisation by fluidising air. When the supply of fluidising air to the external recirculation unit is terminated, the time is measured, which is required for boiling bed in circulation pipe achieving the given top level from the low initial level. Based of the above mentioned time and accumulated volume of boiling bed material in circulation pipe, the boiling bed material flow rate is defined taking into account the inner diameter of circulation pipe. Light fluxes are directed across the circulation pipe at the initial low and top levels. The time is measured by timer, which is switched on when the boiling bed material accumulated in the circulation pipe crosses the light flux being on the lower initial level, and switched off when the boiling bed material accumulated in the circulation pipe crosses the light flux being on the initial top level. The light fluxes directed crosswise circulation pipe at low and top initial levels, prevent closing by boiling bed material penetrating circulation pipe.
EFFECT: measuring of circulating boiling bed material volume in fire chamber with circulating boiling bed.
