FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power production. The thermal power station comprises a compressor of the multi-cylinder isothermal compression piston compressor arranged in water and furnished with worm gears, motors and internal combustion engine. The engine exhaust gases pass through a spiral heater to warm up compressed air to be fed to the air turbine. The aforesaid heater represents a spiral heat exchanger. The station comprises additionally a furnace to fire solid fuel. Note here that the solid fuel combustion products come together with the exhaust gases into the channel between the spiral heater coils opposite to each other to heat air to the preset temperature. Air turbine runs the electric generator to produce electric current.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of thermal power station.
