FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: bypass gas turbine engine incorporates the birotary fan driven by a simple coaxial inner gearing reduction gear and blades locked relative to the disk. The reduction gear paired idler gears are fitted on a common shaft running in rolling bearing fitted upstream and in rear plain bearing. The roller bearing is furnished with radial circular ribs axially locking the shafts and rollers along the outer and inner races. The ratio between the rim OD of the reduction gear idler gear downstream of the airflow and the working surface plain bearing diameter makes 1 to 2.
EFFECT: reduced noise level, engine higher efficiency and reliability ensured by driving birotary fan from the low-pressure turbine via coaxial internal gearing reduction gear thanks to lower loads from centrifugal forces acting on the fan blades, lower weight and simpler design.
