FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: proposed semi-trailer has a frame on wheels, fitted with side members, in wall-shaped sections with outwardly directed upper and lower widener shelves, made in form of arms. The side members have projections, in form of planks, rigidly fixed to the bottom side of the upper shelf. The upper shelf of the widener at its rear wall, adjacent to the side members, is rigidly fixed to the plank of the widener with provision for putting it into the position of the widener fitted on the frame, in the space under the plank projection. The rear wall of the widener is has a rectangular shape, the height of which is less than the height of the wall of the side members, but larger than the distance between the bottom of the projection and the lower shelf of the side member.

EFFECT: widening of the field of using the semi-trailer due to increase in the range of the tracks conveyed by the semi-trailer through increase in the possible load of the widener.
