FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of controlling freeness of rail lines lies in the fact that, on one end of the rail line an alternating current signal is given, on the other end the current value is compared with the threshold value, which is determined by the reference voltage - the current voltage on the receiving end of the rail lines in absence of the influence of a shunt. The input resistance at the ends has a complex character with a capacitive component. On the feeding and receiving ends at the points of maximum voltage spikes the series resonant circuit is connected to the rails, stepping up the voltage on the receiving end of the rail line when the shunt is outside the zone of influence of the rail lines. The proposed method allows to observe the work on the rail track circuit unlimitedly (tonally) with an electrical connection.
EFFECT: substantial improvement to the operating conditions of the rail track circuit in all modes without the necessity of installing a transformer resistor on the part in electric traction.
