FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: additive comprises a mixture of fatty acids and resin acids and/or their salts in a ratio sufficient for removing extractive substances during the production of pulp. Method of obtaining additives for pulping of wood, in which fatty acids and resin acids are presented in a ratio , effective for the removal of extractive substances during the production of pulp. If necessary, salt of the specified acids are obtained by the reaction of the specified mixture of fatty and resin acids, containing the required ratio of fatty acids and resin acids, with water and sodium hydroxide. The additive for pulping wood in the invention is used when pulping hardwood, preferably birch wood.
EFFECT: improving the quality of additive for better removal of extractive substances in the process of pulping wood.
