FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves excitation of molecules of dye in the presence of oxygen above the surface of the specimen, consisting of photoactive oxygen-permeable matrices on a glass base, registration of the luminescence dye and determining the oxygen concentration by the form of the luminescent signal. Before determining the oxygen concentration one applies a screening coat of the thickness from 0.01 mm to 1 mm on the surface of the photoactive oxygen permeable matrix.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determination of the concentration of molecular oxygen and widening the range of measuring.
