FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method of pipes deformation includes blank broaching into bushing, bushing rolling-off on floating plug and then at the same mandrel, but forcibly displaced. Rolling-off is implemented in a one stand, while on floating plug rolling-off is implemented till outlet from mandrel leading end from deformation zone, then it is implemented rolling-off at the same mandrel with compulsory mandrel keeping, and when length of non-rolled part of bushing would become equal to where lb - length of non-rolled part of bushing, m; lm - mandrel length, m; λ - general pipe reduction in reeling machine, rolling-off is finished on floating plug.
EFFECT: it is provided ability of receiving of long-length high-quality pipes, on one-stand reeling machine, increasing of process productivity and life duration of mandrels ensured by mandrels usage, length of which is less then length of rough pipes after rolling-off.
