FIELD: household goods and personal effects; packaging materials.

SUBSTANCE: beverage container consists of a central axis vessel with an elastic lid fitted to close it. The vessel has an apertured neck with the neck having a closure plate integrated in the pendant skirt encircling the neck from the outside. The skirt ring flange comes in sealing contact with the underside of the downwards turned ring-shaped collar positioned on the neck outside surface. The ring flange connected to the above skirt via a swivel joint is elongated as viewed in axial section with the butt surface of its loose end coming in sealing contact with the collar underside. On the above skirt inside there is a ring-shaped embossment that comes in sealing contact with the ring flange first side surface, the ring flange second side surface coming in sealing contact with the neck outside. The skirt inside, the above ring flange first side surface, the embossment and the swivel element confine a ringed cavity with a gas duct, the gas circulating between the ringed cavity and the ambient environment.

EFFECT: innovative lid design reliably ensuring pressure-tight sealing and capable of withstanding relatively high pressures.
