SUBSTANCE: invention relates to guns used as civil self-defense arm. Proposed barrel has cartridge chamber and bore accommodating ledges in the form of inserts. The said ledge features bullet passage. Note that the said ledges are arranged one above the other. The bullet passage features its surface inclined with respect to the barrel bore axis. There is muzzle taper made right behind the ledge.
EFFECT: ruling out shooting with metal bullets.
